AES Testing Hours:
Monday - Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
During both midterm and finals week, because of the influx of testers, exams can only be taken at 8 am, 11:30 am, or 3 pm Monday through Friday.
AES may administer exams when the student or instructor requests it. To test with our office, you must be registered with the AES office and be approved for accommodation. You may schedule your exam anytime during the semester if you provide 3 business days' notice. We suggest scheduling finals as early as possible to ensure we have a testing spot. We encourage students to schedule all exams as soon as they know about them.
If AES administers a test for you:
- You are responsible for notifying AES when you plan to take an exam by submitting a request online.
- You must schedule at least 3 business days in advance. Please note that if you do not schedule at least 3 business days in advance, there is no guarantee that our office will have your exam or the space to allow you to test.
- Your exam must be finished by 5 pm, excluding finals week.
- You must arrive on time. Arrivals 15 minutes late or later could be considered a ‘no show,’ and you may be required to reschedule.
- You may not take personal items in the testing room unless specified by the instructor.
- You will not be permitted to leave the testing room while testing progresses.
- If the testing proctor believes that a student is cheating on a test, the student will be permitted to take the entire test. However, the incident will be documented, and the professor will be notified. It will be up to the professor's discretion what actions will be taken after this.
