IU South Bend is not only dedicated to serving our students, but the entire South Bend community. Funds are continually allocated to initiatives that benefit the South Bend community, including providing healthcare to community members in need through our partnership with HealthLinc to expand the IU South Bend Health and Wellness Center, as well as our Dental Hygiene Clinic’s service learning events for free dental care. We also offer academic resources to give students the knowledge and experience to help impact the community through our Centers of Excellence.
