Titan Transfers Scholarships*
Indiana University South Bend is excited to offer the Titan Transfer Scholarship Award* to recognize outstanding students who are:
- Indiana residents (Out of state transfer students, check out the Chancellor’s Merit Award.)
- Enrolling in a full-time in-person degree and
- Transferring to IU South Bend from a regionally accredited US institution
Application Deadline:
Titan Transfer Scholarships are automatically offered to qualifying transfer students when they are admitted to IU South Bend on or before June 15 for the fall semester. Eligible students must submit complete, official transcripts from all previous institutions by June 15 to receive the award.
Award (for transfer students starting fall 2025 or after):
Titan Transfers Award (total value up to $3,000 up to three years):
A maximum annual Titan Transfers award of $1,000 will automatically be offered to students accepted to IU South Bend with a cumulative transfer GPA of 3.5 or higher (which includes all courses attempted at all previous institutions) and who have 26 or higher transferable credits and less than 70 transferable credits.
Renewal Criteria:
Titan Transfers Awards are automatically renewable for an additional two years (or until graduation whichever occurs first) when a student meets the below qualifications in the academic year (Fall, Spring, and Summer):
- minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA
- enroll full-time each fall and spring term, and
- complete 24 credit hours toward their degree
- Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis

*[Note: Indiana House enacted HB 1402 and SB 590 prohibits students that are not U.S. Citizens or a qualified alien from receiving institutional scholarship funds.
