These awards are open to students from all academic majors meeting the following criteria:
- Be a degree-seeking student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the IU South Bend campus with the intention to complete a degree at IU South Bend;
- Have completed a minimum of two semesters as an undergraduate or one semester as a graduate at IU South Bend;
- Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative undergrad gpa or a 3.0 graduate gpa; and
- Enroll in a minimum of three credits in an IU South Bend based, OSAC approved, overseas studies or exchange program.
Preference is given to applicants who have not previously lived outside the United States for an appreciable period of time and those that are enrolled in one of the short-term programs.
This award is open to undergraduate students meeting the following criteria:
- Be a degree-seeking student that enrolled at IU South Bend within two years of graduating high school.
Preference will be given to students who have achieved a minimum 3.5 GPA and to those majoring in a program within the Judd Leighton School of Business and Economics.
This award is open to undergraduate students meeting the following criteria:
- Have a minimum 2.75 gpa (preference will be given to students with recent demonstrated academic success at IU South Bend).
Priority will be given to students pursuing a major or minor course of study in World Language or others participating in a program with extensive world language.
This award is open to students from all academic majors meeting the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in one of the full-time undergraduate or graduate or diploma programs at IU South Bend with the intention to complete a degree at IU South Bend;
- Have a record of academic excellence (3.25 for undergraduate and 3.3 for graduate students); and
- Have completed at least four semesters (or the equivalent) of a modern language with a minimum 3.25 grade point average in that language.
- Spend the award period in full-time formal study and/or approved research project in a foreign country
Preference is given to students who have successfully completed at least 15 credits in an undergraduate, graduate or diploma program at IU South Bend and those students that have not lived outside of the United States for an appreciable period of time
This award is open to undergraduate students at IU South Bend from all academic majors meeting the following criteria:
- Be enrolled as an undergraduate with the intention to complete a degree at IU South Bend; and
- Have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher; and
- Have completed at least two semesters of undergraduate study; and
- Participate in an IU-approved, credit-bearing overseas study program or approved research project as part of an educational experience for a semester, academic year, summer study, or short-term program.
