This scholarship is available to students maintaining a 3.0 GPA and enrolled as a Junior or Senior at an accredited Indiana college or university.  Awards are provided by the Putnam County Community Foundation (students do not need to be from this county to apply).

Indiana Black Expo, Inc. is committed to assisting Indiana students in their pursuit of higher education. Scholarships will be awarded to current high school seniors and students currently enrolled in a post secondary institution who exhibit outstanding leadership, scholarship and community service. Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) will award two $500 scholarships on behalf of The H. Kent Weldon Scholarship Program. The scholarships support undergraduate students enrolled in either a four-year private, independent or state-supported public Indiana college or university.

Indiana college students who volunteer with a public safety organization can now apply for the 2019 round of the Indiana Homeland Security Foundation scholarship. The Indiana Homeland Security Foundation scholarship offers higher education financial assistance for Indiana students who wish to pursue a degree.

Eligible applicants include Indiana residents who are an incoming or continuing student who:
* Attends or will be attending an accredited Indiana college.
* Must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
* Volunteers at a public safety organization such as fire, law enforcement, emergency management or emergency medical services (validated by chief executive). The Indiana Homeland Security Foundation board will determine compliance eligibility. The revenue from "Secure Indiana" license plate sales funds the Indiana Homeland Security Foundation. The Foundation, one of the first of its kind in the nation, provides financial support for critical public safety needs across Indiana. The Foundation offers a Secure Indiana Scholarship to provide higher education financial assistance for Indiana students who wish to pursue a degree pertaining to public safety.

Amount: A full-time student with at least twelve (12) credit hours is eligible for a $2,000 scholarship and a part-time student with at least six (6) hours is eligible for a $1,000 scholarship. The program funds are intended solely to reimburse eligible student educational expenses.

Students must be an Indiana resident and son/daughter, grandson/granddaughter, or a legal dependent of an active or retired member of the Indiana State Teachers Retirement Fund.

Scholarships for current members, dependents, or grandchildren of current members of the association.  Applicants must be full-time students who are residents of Indiana and who are committed to pursuing an education and career in a law enforcement field.

Awarded to students taking coursework to major or minor in a field related to resource conservation or environmental education.

Awarded to students residing in Penn, Harris or Madison townships who attend or plan on attending a local college or university. The Tri Kappa local chapter, Beta Gamma, created the scholarship to foster the education of local students planning to attend local colleges or universities. Award amounts vary depending on funds available.

Awarded to to a woman 25 years of age or older. This scholarship is designed for the woman who has had an interruption in her educational career, but is now back in school, and is working seriously towards a degree, with at least 6-12 credits completed and a grade point average that shows success towards her goal of graduation.

Amount: $500

A medical scholarship offered to a current junior who will return to IU South Bend for their senior year. Money is for tuition, fees, and/or books. Recipient will be notified in June.
