The 2019-2020 award winner of Outstanding Advisor of the Year is Dana Vrajitoru. Here are few things that the nominators had to say:
“Professor Dana has been helpful in resurrecting this club. She has gone above and beyond helping us with competitions and coaching us how to excel in competition. She has made herself approachable and gives the club her time. Professor Dana has meet with the ACM club outside of her regular hours for extended amounts of time, to help with practices and furthering our knowledge. Professor Dana has also taken it upon herself to learn Discord to still be a help to us even though we are no longer able to meet in person. Professor Dana, is awesome and loves to compete in global game jams as well. It is cool to see a side of a professor that loves to have fun with her passion and wants to keep participating in other competitions. She makes it easy for us to find ways to make the club grow and how we should go about it. Our club loves to come up with a bunch of ideas. It can be hard to navigate through them and find a good place to start. Going back on saying that she has the knowledge to keep pointing us in the right direction. Dana has been there for us anytime we need her. We are lucky to have her as our coach and blessed to have her at IUSB.”
