Transition Monitoring Team Charge
Academic Year 2024-25
The IU South Bend Transition Monitoring Team (TMT) is a group that invites comments on the change process to hear how things are going for people and the effects that the transition is having on people. In providing a listening mechanism, it can identify misinformation that may be circulating. The hope is that by establishing the TMT, people will feel they have a vehicle to express fears or anxieties and identify gaps in communication or engagement in ways that will build confidence and trust in the Academic Organizational Design-Implementation (AOD-I) process and leadership.
The TMT will be a feedback channel to help the AOD-I and the administration hear concerns regarding how people feel about the implementation process. Feedback gathered by the TMT will not change the charge or outcomes of the AOD-I but will influence how the AOD-I manages processes, communications, and engages with campus stakeholders in accomplishing its charge. The TMT is a monitoring team not a management team. It is a time limited group that originally encompassed the 2023-24 academic year but has been extended through December 2024.
