Computer Science
(Bachelor of Science, Minors, Certificate)
A high-demand field that emphasizes knowledge and innovation, and its impact is felt in every aspect of our lives. We prepare our students for imagining, designing, and creating the technology of the future. Our graduates are in high demand in Indiana as well as nationally.
Data Science
(Bachelor of Science Online)
A rapidly growing and high paying field. Enormous amounts of data are generated every day. Students learn to collect, organize, and analyze data to make meaningful conclusions.
Applied Mathematics and Computer Science
(Master of Science with focus areas in computer science, data science, cybersecurity, applied mathematics, or integrated)

Informatics Programs
Innovative set of programs allowing you to acquire and apply computer science and coding skills to an area of your passion such as health care, business, psychology, sociology, arts, etc. Visit the Informatics program page.
Academic advising plays an important role in helping you take ownership of your college career. And our faculty advisors are here to help! Current students use the Student Appointment Scheduler on one.iu.edu to schedule an appointment with your assigned Advisor. If your advisor does not have appointment availability, email them. If you cannot find the advisor or the advisor’s email contact the department office using the information provided in this page and we will be happy to put you in touch with your advisor.
Newly admitted students may register for a New Student Orientation and academic advising appointment online on the New Student Orientation website.
